Ja’Quan R. Phillips is an entrepreneur, communications professional, media producer, speaker, licensed minister, and community leader whose work spans business, media, public relations, nonprofit leadership, ministry, and community service. A native of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, Ja’Quan has built his journey around purpose, creativity, leadership, and a commitment to creating opportunities that positively impact others.

He is the Founder of Ja’Quan R. Phillips Enterprise, LLC, an expanding business focused on media, creativity, professional services, and entrepreneurship, as well as JRP Media Group, its media and creative arm. His experience includes photography, videography, content creation, podcasting, branding, event production, and communications. His production experience has also included work supporting the ESSENCE Festival of Culture, further expanding his experience in large-scale media and event production.

Beyond business and media, Ja’Quan is the Founder & CEO of the Jasmine Sickle Cell Warriors Foundation, Inc., an organization created in honor of his late sister, Jasmine Rayvon Phillips. Through the Foundation, he has spent more than a decade championing sickle cell awareness, education, advocacy, family support, community outreach, and partnerships designed to strengthen the sickle cell community.

Ja’Quan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Public Relations from Liberty University. He also serves as a Board Member and Treasurer of Friends of Vance, is a commissioned North Carolina Notary Public, and became a Licensed Minister in 2023. His professional experience has extended across higher education, property management, insurance, local government programming, communications, marketing, sales, and nonprofit leadership.
